I thought “Ahh shoot, it’s 90+ degrees outside, this is going to be a tough session for my couple.” However, I couldn’t have been more wrong! Despite the heat, we all had such a blast! This past Sunday, I met Ali and Jake at the Boerner Botanical Gardens for their engagement session. Boerner is one of my all time favorite locations to shoot but truly it’s my couples that make it come alive!

Now when you look at these pictures, you’re going to notice how incredibly stunning they are! They’re such a gorgeous couple! But what I wish I could show (and hopefully it comes across in the pictures!) is how genuine and kind hearted these two are! They made me feel like we were old friends, and for that I’m so thankful!  I already knew that I loved Ali from the first time we chatted on the phone. I remember hanging up with her after our first call & doing a little happy dance because I was so thankful that I get to work with the BEST COUPLES. Meeting Jake and seeing them together was the sprinkles on top! They kept stealing the cutest glances & kisses that made my heart smile so big (making me completely forget about the heat!). I absolutely loved our time together Sunday evening and I cannot WAIT to share some favorites!! Ali & Jake you guys are amazing!! September CAN’T come soon enough!
